How to share tenant portal invitation links

Invite tenants to their self-service portal where they can pay rent online, submit maintenance requests, view documents, and communicate with you securely.

The Tenant Portal

Every tenant gets access to their own secure portal where they can manage their rental relationship with you. Here's how to get them set up.

What Tenants Can Do

  • Pay Rent: Online via bank account or card.
  • Submit Maintenance: Report issues with photos.
  • View Documents: Access their lease and notices.
  • Communicate: Message you directly.
  • Set Up Auto-Pay: Never miss a payment.

Inviting a Tenant

  1. Go to the tenant's profile page.
  2. Click "Invite to Portal".
  3. Verify their email address is correct.
  4. Click Send Invitation.

They'll receive an email with a secure link to create their account.

Re-sending Invitations

If the tenant didn't receive or lost the invitation:

  1. Go to their profile.
  2. Click "Resend Invitation".

Tip: Ask them to check spam folders!

Sharing the Portal URL

Your tenant portal has a unique URL for your organization. Share it directly:

portal.rentmouse.com/your-organization

Tenants can bookmark this to log in anytime.

Multiple Tenants per Unit

For roommates, invite each tenant separately. They'll each have their own login but can see shared information about the unit.
