What Tenants Can Do

  • Pay Rent: Online via bank account or card.

Sharing the Portal Link

Tap the arrow button to uncover more details on accessing the tenant portal, then:

  • Share via Email: Select 'Share via Email' to effortlessly send the tenant portal link straight to an email address.
  • Preview Portal: Click "Preview Portal" to access and explore the tenant portal interface, allowing you to engage with all tenant features.

Tenant Account Creation

When tenants receive the portal link, here's how they create their account:

  1. Click 'Create Account' to start setting up the tenant portal.
  2. Enter first name in the designated field.
  3. Enter email address accurately in the input field.
  4. Enter phone number to continue with account creation.
  5. Enter a password in the provided field.
  6. Re-enter the password to confirm it matches.
  7. Click the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions.
  8. Click 'Create Account' to finish signing up.

Re-sending Invitations

If the tenant didn't receive or lost the invitation:

  1. Go to their profile.
  2. Click "Resend Invitation".

Tip: Ask them to check spam folders!

Sharing the Portal URL

Your tenant portal has a unique URL for your organization. Share it directly:

portal.rentmouse.com/your-organization

Tenants can bookmark this to log in anytime.

Multiple Tenants per Unit

For roommates, invite each tenant separately. They'll each have their own login but can see shared information about the unit.
