Renting in Milwaukee

Neighbourhoods landlords here manage: Third Ward, East Side, Bay View, Riverwest, Walker's Point, Downtown.

Ownership contact details are a standing obligation

Milwaukee requires owners of all non-owner-occupied residential property to register ownership contact information with the Department of Neighborhood Services, which is a separate matter from any inspection. The Residential Rental Inspection Program awards a four-year rental certificate to properties that meet code, and the City's landlord training certificate has to be renewed every three years. Keeping the registered contact current is the small thing most often forgotten after a sale, a refinance or a change of managing agent.
