What’s new in RentMouse

The current version is v2026.9.24. Entries list what changed for landlords and tenants.

Landlord public pages, rental listings and a new Help Centre

· v2026.9.24

  • Every landlord can publish a public page at rentmouse.com/your-business, built from drag-and-drop blocks with theme presets, accent colours and a photo library.
  • Units can be advertised on that page, each with its own listing page, photo gallery, asking rent and availability.
  • Renters send inquiries through a spam-protected form; landlords receive a reply-ready email and an Inquiries inbox with status tracking.
  • Tenants can sign in to their portal from their landlord’s page, and signed-out portal links lead there.
  • A seventh feature page, Landlord website & listings, and a matching section on the home page.
  • The Help Centre was redesigned and now covers properties, tenants, documents, maintenance, your account and the public page.
  • Photographic headers on the Features, Pricing and Help pages.

Returning customers, contact details and refreshed product previews

· v2026.9.5

  • Returning customers can verify their billing email and either keep their original subscription or stop future renewals, without re-entering property data.
  • Tenant records and the tenant portal carry structured contact and emergency-contact details.
  • Signing up records acceptance of the Terms of Service; the Privacy Policy states its version.
  • The Rent page lets landlords start Stripe onboarding. Online rent payments from tenants remain switched off.
  • The landing page and all six feature pages show current product screens from a fictional demo portfolio.
  • Blog articles publish with article structured data, dates and a representative image.
  • Lease drafts can be downloaded and printed before every field is filled; missing fields and custom clauses are navigable placeholders in the draft.
  • Landlords can add their own signature to a lease document from its page.
  • Province and state guides stay readable to search engines when a data request fails, and the public guide data is no longer blocked by robots rules.
  • Lease agreements download as real PDFs with writing lines for blank values and dates beside signatures; draft interviews are saved and can be reopened, and custom clauses persist.
  • City pages for 415 Canadian and U.S. cities are back at their original addresses (for example /ca/quebec/gatineau), with the rules that apply served from the same records as the lease builder, plus a city index at /cities.
  • The blog editor writes visually by default, with Markdown as an optional mode; editors can draft in a chosen format, plan images, and review what public landlord blogs cover.
  • Billing plan cards say upgrade or downgrade correctly and route existing subscribers through the Stripe portal; invoices have print and verified-payment receipt actions.
  • This What’s new page and the version line in the footer.

Public site relaunch

· v2026.8.28

  • The public site moved to the night “landlord command centre” design with real product screens.
  • Landlord guides for every Canadian province and territory and every U.S. state, from the same records that fill the leases.
  • The blog returned with the earlier landlord articles, plus a media library and scheduled publishing for editors.
  • Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages written from what the product actually does.
  • Analytics only run after consent on public pages, and never inside the signed-in workspace.
