What the section contains
Every lease opens with a contact section naming each landlord and each renter, with a mailing address, an email address and a phone number for each of them.
It grows with the number of people. One renter is listed plainly; several are numbered. The section uses whatever the agreement calls the parties, so a room rental says Provider and Renter and a sublease says Sublessor and Sublessee.
Where the details come from
- Landlord details come from your account registration.
- Renters come from the lease itself — the primary tenant and any co-tenants you have added.
- Anything missing is asked for once and saved back to that person's tenant record, so the next lease already has it.
If something is missing
A detail that has not been supplied shows in the document in square brackets, and the lease cannot be sent for signature until it is filled in. Review lists everything still outstanding with a link straight to the question.
