Your business profile and document defaults
Set the business details, landlord legal name and rent policy defaults that RentMouse reuses on leases and invoices.
When you first set up your account, and whenever your business details change.
Settings → Business, Documents and Rent policy.
Business profile
Your business or portfolio name, phone and address identify you across RentMouse, and the business name forms the address of your public page. The landlord legal name is the name that appears as the landlord and signs on your behalf, so enter it exactly.
Rent policy defaults
Set the usual rent due day, grace period, late fee and rent payment instructions. New leases start from these values, and the payment instructions are printed into the rent clause.
Document defaults
Choose the reference prefix for new documents, a footer notice, and a governing state or province used only when a property has none of its own.
Legal note
- Whether a late fee is allowed and how large it may be, and what a lease must say about the landlord's name and address for service.
