Advertising a rental on your page
Choose which units to advertise, write the listing, add photos and decide whether the street address is shown.
When a unit is coming up for rent and you want renters to find it on your page.
Public page → Advertised rentals tab → Advertise this unit or Edit listing.
Create a listing
- Open the Advertised rentals tab. Every unit in your account is listed with its building, marked Advertised or Not advertised.
- Select Advertise this unit, then add a headline, a short description, the asking rent per month and the date it is available from.
- Add listing photos. The first photo is the cover; each can be up to 6 MB.
- Save listing. If your page is published, the unit appears in the Available rentals block straight away.
What renters see
Each advertised unit has its own page under your address, with a photo gallery, bedrooms, bathrooms and floor area from the unit record, the asking rent, availability and an inquiry form.
By default only the city is shown. Turn on Show the street address if you want the full address on the listing.
When the unit is rented
Select Stop advertising. The listing disappears from your page and its link stops working, while the words and photos stay saved in case you advertise the unit again later.
Keep the listing accurate
The listing is your advertisement. Check that the rent, availability and description are current, and that the wording follows the advertising and human-rights rules that apply where the property is.
Legal note
- What an advertisement may say about who can rent the home, and what it must disclose. RentMouse publishes the words you write; it does not review them against the law.
